Στην περίπτωση προϊόντων και λειτουργιών που δεν συμμορφώνονται με τις προδιαγραφές των πελατών, τα πρότυπα, τους σχετικούς κώδικες ή οδηγίες, αυτά τα φορτία παρτίδας απορρίπτονται εάν τα φορτία δεν πληρούν τις απαιτήσεις.
Με τον τρόπο αυτό αποτρέπονται πολλά προβλήματα που προκύπτουν μετά την παράδοση των φορτίων. Η πλήρης και ασφαλής αποστολή των φορτίων εξασφαλίζεται. Είναι απαραίτητο να μελετηθούν σωστά οι πρώτες ύλες που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν ως προς την ποιότητα, την ασφάλεια, αλλά και ως προς την διαθεσιμότητα και την τιμή τους στην αγορά.
